Southeast Venture Conference to Address Economic Effects on Venture Capital Market

Over 40 expert speakers will discuss current market implications and opportunities

ATLANTA (January 7, 2009) - The 2009 Southeast Venture Conference (SEVC) today announced its initial investor and executive oriented panel line-up covering a variety of topics for attending venture capitalists, private equity investors and technology executives. The 3rd annual event is set for March 11-12, 2009 at Atlanta’s Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel.

Current keynotes for SEVC 2009 include Tim Draper, Founder and Managing Director of venture capital heavyweight Draper Fisher Jurvetson; Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes Magazine; Chip Perry, President and Chief Executive Officer of AutoTrader.com; and Chuck Swoboda, Chief Executive Officer of Cree.

In addition to panels and featured speakers and exclusive networking opportunities, the conference will feature presentations from over 40 of the southeast and mid-atlantic region’s top technology growth companies before the national audience of venture capitalists, private equity investors, angel investors, investment bankers and the technology service community.
