Second Round of Presenting Companies Announced
MCLEAN, VA – JANUARY 23, 2008 – The Southeast Venture Conference (SEVC) today announces the second round of companies selected to present at the upcoming conference scheduled for February 27th-28th, 2008 at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia. A total of 40 companies from the southeast and mid-atlantic regions will be presenting to over $45 billion in private equity capital.
The 40 presenting companies range from late stage pre-IPO firms to earlier stage firms from a variety of technology industries. The 40 presenting companies are well on their way to being the future stars of the region's economy having collectively already raised close to half a billion in venture capital to date. Presenting companies from Washington DC, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Maryland, Georgia, Florida and Alabama are all represented at the SEVC.
