First Round of Presenting Companies Announced for Southeast Venture Conference

Innovation Showcased from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee

Tysons Corner, VA – December 13, 2007 – The Southeast Venture Conference (SEVC) today announces the first round of companies selected to present at the upcoming conference scheduled for February 27th-28th, 2008 at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

The presenting companies represent some of the most promising technologies in the region. A diverse range of industries are represented in the first round of companies, including Energy, Mobile, Defense, Health, Security, New Media and Life Science.

Presenting companies will present to an audience of investors and executives from around the region. A total of 40 companies are expected to be showcased at the second annual conference. Currently, there is over $40 billion under management representing by investors already registered for the conference.
